You will be taken to the admin area of Social Report where you can see all of your social media accounts that are set up for you. Each account has a list of the statuses that have been updated since last time.
Step 2
Now that you have set up your accounts, you need to create a new rule in the admin area of Social Report. This is where you can tell Social Report what type of social media account updates to check for and how often.
Here is an example of how I set up my rule so that it will automatically check my Twitter account for new updates on Mondays at 8pm EST : “If Monday between 8pm EST and 9pm EST, then check Twitter.” Once I save this rule, it will start checking my Twitter account on Mondays at 8pm EST, no matter what day it is.
Step 3
Once I have created my rule, I just need to leave Social Report running in the background and I can go about my business. It will automatically check my Twitter account for new updates on Mondays at 8pm EST.
Step 4
If Social Report finds any new updates, it will notify me. I just need to click on the notification to be taken to the update in my Twitter account.
I can then copy the information from there and paste it into a text message or an email so that I can quickly reply to my customer or post a new update. If you have more than one social media account, you can also create a rule that checks all of your accounts for new updates at once.
